Kate Hodges graduated from the University of Westminster with a BA in Print Journalism. She has over 20 years writing experience on magazines, having been a staffer on publications including The Face, Bizarre, Just Seventeen, Smash Hits and Sky, and written for many more, including The Guardian, The Sunday Express, Kerrang! Came out in 2016, and Rural London. Her fourth book, I Know A Woman. And The Hare and Hoofe.

In my art practice I am drawn to available and craft materials. I also take delight in making useful, everyday things like bread, soap, sweaters, quilts. Not surprising some of my favorite schools of art include the Russian Constructivists, The Arts and Crafts Movement, and all that interesting decorative stuff Women did in the 19th and early 20th Century. In Saskatoon I found the companion. I earn a living working. In the Library at the University of Saskatchewan.
